🚀 Science Sparks with SIUC! 🧪
A massive THANK YOU to the SIUC Physics Department for teaching our 3rd graders yesterday! Our young scientists had an absolute blast diving into the world of physics through hands-on discovery.
Our students rotated through some incredible stations, exploring:
Rockets: Watching physics in action as they took to the skies! 🚀
Spheres: Learning about shape, motion, and gravity. ⚽
Water Physics: Getting a little splash of fluid dynamics. 💧
Vibration & Sound: Seeing (and hearing!) how energy moves through the air. 🔊
Opportunities like this bring classroom lessons to life and inspire the next generation of researchers, engineers, and explorers. We are so lucky to have such a dedicated university partner right in our backyard!

Dear Parents and Guardians: Starting Monday, April 27, Cardinal Road will be closed at Grand Ave and Cambria Road. You will not be able to travel west from Grand Ave onto Cardinal Rd. The afternoon routes for Bus 6 and Bus 9 will be delayed about 20 minutes. Please plan accordingly and allow for extra time for travel and student drop off/pick up.

Congratulations to our Tri-C students competing in The Special Olympics! All three students did a great job. Thank you Ms. Gaston and Mrs. Fleener for helping our athletes.
Reminder: Friday (4/17) is Hat Day Dollar Day - wear your favorite hat to school! $1 donations are greatly appreciated and proceeds will be donated to the “Ag in the Classroom” program.
