The following CJHS FBLA members attended and competed at the FBLA-Middle Level State Conference on Friday in Decatur.

1st in Exploring Professionalism - Zoie Smith

All three qualified for the National Leadership Conference in San Antonio, TX.

CJHS celebrated two of our outstanding students at the Illinois Principals Association Shawnee Region's 36th Annual Student Recognition Dinner at SIUC. Mrs. Barber and Mrs. Prather were proud to award Everett and Adam these honors. They represent our school in phenomenal ways every day. Congratulations to these two spectacular students!

CJHS held their 3rd Quarter PBIS Assembly, and students who met the goal had their name put into a drawing for a chance at one of 12 gifts cards. Pictured are the students who were drawn. We are proud of our students striving to reach goals excel!

We would like to congratulate several of our CJHS students for their outstanding performance this past weekend at the 2026 IGSMA Contest held at the junior high. These students practice all year, and they are truly talented!
Each student received a rating of Superior or Excellent for their performances.

One of our wonderful members of the breakfast and lunch crew won Teacher/Staff Member of the Month for February. The student recommendations came in, and Brenda Wood was the selection! We appreciate the care she shows our students each day at CJHS! 🦁
