Our CJHS and CHS chorus members put on quite a show at the high school tonight. They did a fantastic job, and Mrs. Zimmerman acknowledged our 8th grade students that put in hard work all year. Wonderful job to all who participated!
This message is to inform you that your CJHS student is to stay back for tutoring services this Wednesday (early-out) from 2:05-3:05. Your student will be notified in PRIDE of their need for tutoring support, as they have an "F" in one or more core classes for this term. If their grade is a 60% or above on Wednesday, they may email cwoolard@cartervilleschools.org for permission to dismiss & attend early-out as normal.

Congratulations to our two ROE #21 Spelling Bee participants from Carterville Junior High School, Robyn Kiel and Greenlee Zelasko, for both making it to the final rounds of the spelling bee! Robyn made it into the top five, and Greenlee is this year’s champion! It is a good day to be a Lion!
The Carterville Junior High bowling teams had a great weekend at the regional tournament this past weekend. The girls received 4th place, and the boys received 3rd place! Both teams will advance to state this coming weekend. Also, the top 10 from each team for individual scores received medals. This included Lyla Erwin with 5th place, Brooklyn Schnicker with 9th place, and Griffin Schoonover with 3rd place! Congratulations to both teams and good luck at state!
