Meet the Lions will be held on Friday. Food is served from 5-7 pm.
Volleyball Scrimmage at 6 pm.
Team introductions on the field at 7 pm.
Soccer scrimmage starts at 7:40 pm and the football scrimmage will follow at 8 pm.
Let the games begin! The Junior High baseball and softball teams begin their 2023 season on Tuesday. All of the fall high school teams start practice on Monday. Please register on 8to18 and make sure your physical is current.

Tryouts and practices for the 2023 High School Fall Seasons are approaching quickly. Information concerning tryouts and eligibility are detailed below.
Eligibility for tryouts:
1. Student will be in grades 9-12 for the 2023-2024 school year.
2. Registered on the 8to18 site. cartervillelions.8to18.com
*Please make sure to list their grade for the 2023-2024 school year.
3. A current physical. These can be scheduled through your primary doctor. Athletic physicals are also offered at Integrated Health or SIH Urgent Care Work Care. These can be turned in to the high school office next week or a copy may be turned in at the tryout.
The first official day for all fall tryouts and practices is August 7.

This week's schedule of events. Good luck to our softball team competing in the IHSA Sectional tournament this week. Additionally, Jaden Smith with represent CHS at the IHSA State Track and Field Finals next weekend. He is competing in the shot put. Go Lions!
