Our seniors gathered today for Senior Sunrise and Chalk-a-Spot, while our STUCO members were hard at work decorating to welcome everyone back!
We can't wait to see all of our students tomorrow for the first day of school!

1. High school tryouts/seasons will officially start over the next week. Please make sure you are registered at SNAP (formerly 8to18) and you have a current physical on file. You will NOT be able to participate on the first day of practices if these items are not completed.

2. Save the Date!! Our annual Meet the Lions event will be on August 15, starting at 5 pm. Team introductions will begin at 7 pm. A more detailed schedule of events is coming soon.
Our teams have been working hard this summer and the 2026-2027 seasons should be a good one.

Seniors are invited to kick off their last year at CHS with the Senior Sunrise and Chalk-a-Spot events. We hope to see you there!
We are down to our final team of the 2025-2026 school year. Good luck to our softball team as they try for their third consecutive trip to the state finals!
The girls will play for the chance to go to state on Monday night at 7 pm on the campus of SIUC. We will have a community tailgate outside of the stadium by the left field fence, starting at 5 pm. Free hot dogs, chips and water while supplies last!
