The district has two great donation drives going on right now. Toys for Tots Toy Drive runs through December 14th and our New Pajama Drive for DCFS ends this Friday. All items can be delivered to school offices. Thank you for helping those in need this holiday season. #carterville5



Today kicks off the official Countdown to Christmas. Students are encouraged to participate in the theme days and we look forward to getting in the Christmas spirit!

Don't forget that next week is Spirit Week here at CHS! CHS would like to thank Carterville Dairy Queen, Hardee's, McDonald's and Subway for their generous donations that are being used for student recognition!


All buildings will be holding a pajama drive for kids in need this holiday season. Drop off any donations at all school offices! Thank you school counselors and secretaries for organizing the pajama drive.


CHS celebrates this season of giving with opportunities for our students and staff to give back to the community.

Reminder that tomorrow, October 14, is a full remote learning day for all freshman and sophomores. Seniors are to arrive at 7:45 a.m. for the SAT and juniors at 8 a.m. for the PSAT-NMSQT. Juniors and seniors should bring a number 2 pencil and a calculator.
