Congratulations to our Carterville High School ILMEA All-State Musicians! They are traveling to Peoria and will perform on Saturday. A special congratulations to Grace Arnett for her selection to audition for the National Anthem. She was one of 12 singers selected statewide to audition.

Jostens will be here on Tuesday, December 14, to distribute class rings to students that have ordered one. The representative will be in the cafeteria from 7:40 - 8:10 a.m. Students that have a balance due will need to bring their money with them in order to get their class ring.
Tequilas in Carterville will be donating 10% of all of their sales on Saturday, December 11, to the CHS Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) group. Make sure to go eat and support our students!

Congratulations to Mrs. Dorris' advisory class! They donated the most toys for the Toys for Tots advisory competition and will celebrate with a hot chocolate bar on Friday. CHS would like to thank all of the students and staff that contributed to our donation of over 600 toys to the Salvation Army!

The CHS Interact Club will be selling prepackaged desserts and bakery items during lunch tomorrow (11/22)and Tuesday (11/23). All items are $1 and the proceeds will go to Honor Wreaths for Veterans.

Our CHS Thanksgiving Food Drive was VERY SUCCESSFUL this year thanks to our students and staff!
CHS collected a total of 3,613 non-perishable food items! These items will be distributed to Gumdrops, the Carterville Food Pantry and CHS students and their families in need.
**Special shout out to Mr. Hall and his classes for collecting 550 items!!!
**Special shout out to Ms. Owen and FBLA for donating 450 items from FBLA's Trick or Treating!!
