Please note the following breakfast and lunch menu changes for tomorrow, Friday, January 30:

Friday Breakfast
TRI-C, CIS, and JH: Bacon & cheese scrambled eggs with toast
HS ONLY: Bacon & cheese scrambled eggs with toast and hash brown potatoes

Friday Lunch

TRI-C: Stuffed crust cheese pizza, marinara, side salad with ranch, green beans, and fruit
CIS: Grilled Cheese, chili, carrots with ranch, tater tots, and fruit
JH and HS: Stuffed crust pizza (cheese or pepperoni), marinara, side salad with ranch, green beans, and fruit

Carterville CUSD #5 will be returning to in-person learning tomorrow, Thursday, January 29th.
Alarms are set, backpacks are ready, and we’ll see you tomorrow!

Mother Nature sure is keeping us on our toes, so we'll be using another e-Learning Day on Wednesday, January 28. We hope to see everyone back in person very soon!

We will be using another e-Learning Day on Tuesday, January 27. Students will learn from home, and teachers will communicate expectations and assignments as usual.

Mother Nature decided we needed a little winter surprise!

There will be no in-person school on Monday, January 26. We’ll be switching to an e-Learning Day, so our Lions can learn from home.

Stay warm, stay safe, build a snowman if you can, and we’ll “see” you online!

Calling all Little Lions!

The CHS Little Lion Cheer Camp is coming up and we can’t wait to cheer, jump, and have FUN!

✨ Who: Pre-K through 6th grade (must be at least 3 years old to attend)
✨ When: Monday, January 19
✨ Sign-Up: Register ahead of time using the link below or walk-ins are welcome the day of camp.

The best part?
All campers will show off their new cheer skills with a game day performance at the home basketball game on Friday, January 30. 🦁📣

Before the excitement and sugar kicks in, here's a quick Christmas Break reminder:

📅 Students will dismiss one hour early on Friday, December 19.
❄️ There will be no school from December 22 through January 5.
📚 Students will return to school on Tuesday, January 6.

Congratulations to CJHS Cheer Team. They have taken 1st place the past two weekends! 1st place in Pinckneyville and Edwardsville ICCA Invitation. Way to go girls!

This week's schedule of events. In addition, our two-time defending state champion CJHS Cheerleaders open their competition season today at Pinckneyville. They will compete in Edwardsville next Sunday, as well.
