Dear Carterville Unit #5 Families,
We’re writing to let you know about an important update to our student information system. Over the summer, we will be upgrading our current Skyward system to a new version called Qmlativ, which is also developed by Skyward.
As part of this transition, Family Access will be unavailable starting June 27, 2025. If there is any information you need to view or download, we encourage you to do so before that date.
The new Qmlativ system will officially go live in early July, and it will include a refreshed look and new features designed to improve your experience. We will be posting guides and helpful information on our school websites to assist you with navigating Qmlativ and using Family Access in the new system.
Please note: This year’s online registration will take place in Qmlativ. More details will be shared in the coming weeks to help you prepare.

LAST WEEK TO SIGN UP FOR CARTERVILLE LIL LIONS CAMP
Carterville Volleyball is excited to host our youth summer camp on Monday, June 9 and Tuesday, June 10 for UPCOMING 3rd through 8th grade students (2025-26 school year). This is available to ANY student entering 3rd-8th grade for the 2025-26 school year from. (This is open to any student from any school). 3rd-4th grade players will participate in the first session (8:30-10:00), 5th-6th will attend second session from 10:30-12:00 and 7th-8th grade players will attend the third session (12:30-2:00). $40 will cover a t-shirt and all the fun you can handle. We can't wait to work with you on all volleyball skills.
Please complete the form by FRIDAY, MAY 23th to secure a t-shirt.
Any registration forms received after that date will be welcomed to attend without the guarantee of a t-shirt.
Checks can be made out to CHS Volleyball and turned in at the HS office or bring cash or check the first day of registration.

Summer EBT, or SUN Bucks, is a new permanent nutrition program authorized by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) to help families buy food for their school-aged children during the summer. SUN Bucks will provide a $120 annual benefit to eligible children, via an Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) issuance by the Illinois Department of Human Services (IDHS).

Carterville CUSD No. 5 would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Don Yewell and Adam Compton for their dedicated service to the Carterville School Board.
Mr. Yewell served as a board member for 28 years (1997-2025) and Mr. Compton served for 8 years (2015-2019 and 2021 -2025). We are deeply grateful for the time and wisdom both of these men have invested into our district.
