A group of Educators Rising members attended a field trip to Touch of Nature at Southern Illinois University. The event hosted almost 200 students and staff and in attendance was the 2018 Teacher of the Year. The Carterville High School group of aspiring educators consists of nineteen students, ranging from freshmen to seniors. Pictured is senior, Hannah Lynch, who was awarded a scholarship at the event.
