2026-2027 PLC Early Release Days
Beginning with the 2026-2027 school year, Carterville CUSD No. 5 will implement district-wide one-hour early release days to provide dedicated professional learning time for teachers and staff. This time will support collaboration, professional development, and instructional planning to better serve our students.
Early Release Times
Tri-C Elementary School 1:35pm
Carterville Intermediate School 1:55pm
Carterville Junior High School 2:05pm
Carterville High School 2:04pm
Bus transportation and latchkey services will operate immediately following dismissal on all one-hour early release days.
Families will receive text reminders prior to each early release day.
