Our Building Trades students arrived before 7 AM today to pour concrete for the new baseball and softball press boxes—a project they’ll be constructing themselves. Thanks to Mr. Schlabach’s two-hour block class, these students are getting real, hands-on experience in the skilled trades!

Join us for Football Friday tomorrow by wearing your orange and blue! We will be randomly selecting students to come down to the office—if you're sporting your Carterville colors, you’ll win a prize!

Plus, the advisory class with the most fans in attendance at tomorrow night's game will win ice cream treats on Tuesday! Be sure to find Mrs. Tyner before halftime for your attendance to count. (Note: This applies to student fans in the stands, not game participants.)

To support learning and minimize classroom distractions, all student cell phones should remain "Put away and powered off" during the school day. Whether students choose to leave their phones in their locker or check them into a classroom pouch, our goal is to ensure a clear and consistent routine.

Our High School Publications class had a delicious time preparing for the 2026–2027 yearbook! Students used treats and candy to design page layouts—a hands-on way to practice placing photos, content, and acknowledgments before creating the real deal.
